Yup; one of the best live shows ever...too redundant for me after a few yrs, and I gave up on both of those bands.

First show I saw in the Atlanta Omni was Johny Van Zandt Band opening for Foghat opening for THE OUTLAWS. Back when it was red clay roads to Alpharetta and Atlanta was still Georgia. Some of those guys are still trying to pay off the loans on those trans ams and camaros I saw in the parking lot. GREEN GRASS AND HIGH TIDES.

Saw MTB around same time. They were freakin' great. Blackfoot opened. It's a Highway Song.

Then again, I saw the Danny Joe Brown Band (Molly Hatchet lead singer) open for The Kinks. He was not warmly received.
